• When you e-mail us: your name, e-mail address, phone number if given, and the content of your message. We need them to reply and deal with your request, for example to prepare a proposal. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in replying to messages we receive and, where we discuss a contract, steps taken before entering into it (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
• When you browse the website: the hosting provider automatically records technical data about the visit, such as IP address, time, page visited and browser type. This keeps the website secure and running reliably. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• When you allow the Google map on the Contact page: Google processes your IP address and sets its own cookies. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time in the cookie settings.

The website uses no analytics or advertising tools and does not measure traffic.

• We keep e-mail correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your request and then for no more than 2 years. If it leads to a contract, we keep it for the duration of the contract and for the periods required by law, for example 10 years for accounting records.
• The hosting provider keeps technical records of visits only for a short time.
• Your browser remembers your cookie choice until you change it or clear your browser data.

• Google Ireland Limited, Ireland: company e-mail (Google Workspace) and the Google map, if you allow it.
• Websupport s. r. o., Karadžičova 12, 821 08 Bratislava, Slovakia: website hosting.

Google may also process data in the USA. For such transfers it relies on the European Commission’s adequacy decision (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework) or on standard contractual clauses.

We do not sell data or share it with anyone for marketing.

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict processing and to data portability, the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. Just write to info@hugobach.sk.

If you believe we are not handling your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava 27, www.dataprotection.gov.sk.

We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling.
